How It Got Started

Cancer may be the catalyst that spurred me to start this blog, but it will contain far more than medical jargon and personal health reports.  There will be thoughts and emotions, poetry and stories, sometimes jumbled nonsense inspired by moments of sheer joy or bleak despair. It is not for the faint of heart, so if you're easily offended or uncomfortable with frank discourse, you may want to move on.  If, on the other hand, you are willing to exercise a measure of forbearance and fortitude, I will do my best to do the same.
