Cats and Bidets

This morning’s post comes to you from the thawing state of Oklahoma. The sun is shining brightly and the snow from last week’s storms is nearly gone. Only scant traces remain in the shady areas and the mounds created by the snow plows are melting faster than an ice cream cone on an August afternoon. It’s always good to be home, and it’s amazing to me how much everything has grown and changed over the years. Oklahoma City is a sprawling place with all the amenities one could wish for. Of course, until the current pandemic situation changes, the options are somewhat limited. Nonetheless, it is definitely a mecca of prosperity.

My appointment at the Stephenson Center is this afternoon, and I will certainly add a post to my blog once I have information and can gather my thoughts to share with you. For now, I hope to make you smile with a couple of videos.

The first is from my stepdaughter, Amanda, who is pregnant with a baby boy due in May. Last Christmas, I sent her a bidet for her master bathroom in hopes that it might help alleviate one of the common issues associated with pregnancy. She finally got around to installing it, and as she is inclined to do, she made a video to show everyone how efficiently the appliance works. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

The second video is one I discovered when I was reviewing my cats’ visits to our Harry Potter closet under my staircase. Recently John installed a cat passageway in the door and I placed a litter box inside to make things a bit easier for Sophie, my 13-year-old cat. If the cat traffic is any indication, everyone seems to appreciate the new litter box. Yesterday, I caught an amusing incident involving Samson and the young’un, Josephine. I hope it makes you smile, too.
