Dr. Joudah has returned from family leave because the results from my 22 January lab tests were posted on the patient portal today. The IgA quantitative serum level continues to drop in the normal range. I will see him on Friday, the same day I start Round 4 of the RVD regimen, and I'm preparing a list of questions for him; namely, how low does he want to see my numbers get before we stop the chemo and begin harvesting stem cells? I am understandably eager for that leg of the journey to begin.
In the meantime, I continue to be thankful for your thoughts and prayers and for my ability to remain resilient.
